Wallet Overview
Wallet and Billing
The prepaid method of billing is called Wallet in Gupshup. You must recharge your Gupshup wallet, and based on the usage of apps, deductions are done from the wallet. The wallet works in USD.
How to use a wallet?
To use the wallet, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Wallet: Once logged in on the Partner portal, navigate to the Wallet section. This is usually found in the Home page.
- Add Credits (Funds): In the wallet section, you'll find an option to recharge. Click on it and select the desired credits you want to add to your wallet. 1 credit = 1 USD. Minimum credits allowed are $10, maximum $10,000 in one transaction.
- Billing Details: These are the details needed to generate the invoice for a payment. You can save these details for future use. All wallet-related communication is sent to the given billing email address.
- Payment Method: Choose your preferred payment method to complete the transaction. Gupshup supports 2 payment options Stripe or Ebanx
- Confirmation: After successfully adding credits to your wallet, you'll receive a confirmation message or email. It might take some time to reflect the recharge in the wallet.
- Sending Messages: Now that your wallet is credited, you can start sending messages using the credits available in your wallet. The WhatsApp fee and Gupshup fee deduction will be made automatically from your wallet balance, depending on the plan.
- Monitor Balance: Keep an eye on your wallet balance to ensure you have sufficient credits for sending and receiving messages. If your balance runs low, you can always top up your wallet again. An email is triggered to the billing email address when the balance touches $5.
By following these steps, you can effectively use the Gupshup partner wallet.
